From Rancher to Rancher: Collective Learning on Grazing and Working With the Next Generation

June 18 @ 9:00 am - 3:30 pm

Tuesday, June 18 | 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. | Harlowton, MT

Registration starts at 8:30 a.m.

Are you a past, present, or aspiring ranching mentor interested in teaching the next generation? Consider joining us on June 18 in Harlowton, MT for a collective learning experience including a morning with speakers and a ranch visit in the afternoon. We will hear from Kendall Cross with Red River Consulting about how to successfully work with apprentices, interns, and employees and become a desirable employer. Dale and Janet Veseth will discuss grazing all year and how that fits in with their genetics. After the speakers, we will break for lunch provided by the organizers, and then we will head to the nearby Moe Ranch, where Shane Moe will take us on a tour to show us his vermicast operation and what he is stockpiling for winter grazing.

This is a day to support all those interested in mentoring, grazing, and everything in between. Please come and lend your wisdom and experience to our community.

This event is free, but please register so we have an accurate count for lunch.
