Friday, October 4th 1 PM: Participants may begin to arrive to explore the property and set up camp. 6 PM: Dinner is Potluck. Saturday, October 5th 7:30-8:45 AM: Breakfast and coffee provided by Quivira 9 AM-3 PM: Red Canyon volunteer leaders will facilitate work around the property including fence repair, tank cleaning, and more. Brown bag lunch provided by Quivira. 4 PM-5:30 PM: Land art activity with Karina Hashim-Faulstich. Joining us from UNM's department of Art and Ecology, Karina will guide us through an exercise of creating rust prints onto fiber (bandanas, table clothes, clothing, etc...) from RCR fencing and found objects from around the site. After spending the day learning about ecological revitalization, this workshop presents another opportunity to build a deeper relationship with our surroundings. 6 PM: Dinner provided by Quivira Sunday, October 6th 7:20-8:45 AM: Breakfast and coffee provided by Quivira 9 AM: Plant ID walk 1 PM: Head on home You're welcome to join for some or all of this!

Friday night is potluck, however, Quivira will cover meals from Saturday morning to Sunday morning. Please bring additional snacks and water that you might require. You are also welcome to bring your own food - just note that while RCR has an outdoor kitchen you will need to bring your own cooler if bringing perishables. If you are able to donate to help us cover the cost of food, please donate below. Thank you!

The road into the site requires high clearance vehicles, and ideally 4wd, too. For those of you without that option, we can ferry you in our truck into the site from the parking area along the 107. Please let us know what you require:
