Alex is a New Mexico native with a background in communications, design, outreach, and community-focused work. She enjoys finding creative ways to share information, tell stories, and make communications feel clear and approachable. Her undergraduate studies focused on architecture and communications, with an interest in sustainability and Indigenous studies. That experience helped shape her interest in how people connect with place, community, and the land around them. Before joining Quivira, Alex worked with nonprofits and advocacy organizations on social media, public education materials, bilingual resources, events, and digital content. She enjoys the creative side of communications and finding ways to make information feel useful, thoughtful, and easy to connect with. Outside of work, Alex loves spending time with animals, traveling, experiencing new cultures, and finding any excuse to explore somewhere new.
