Our goal is to help rural communities efficiently use waste products to improve food production and soil health. There are many resources available for backyard composting (check out county extension websites!); here, we focus on methods for rural communities and agricultural operations. We assume that you already know what compost is; there are other great resources to review basics. This guides covers worm composting and aerated static composting in detail.
