Weaving Water, Land, and People

Richard Kingsbury

Rick has over thirty years’ experience in the beef industry, with much of that focused on the Organic and  Grass fed and finished beef business. Growing up on a small beef and dairy farm, cattle handling and  good animal husbandry skills have come naturally. Although working in the construction, transportation  and various fields as needed to raise his family, Rick has always come back to ranching and the sustainable cattle industry.

In 2003 to 2010 he owned and operated Pecos Valley Grass Fed Beef. Raising and marketing his own  product. As well as working in and with many Processing plants to cut and package the very best product  possible.

2010 to 2015 he was hired by Panorama Meats as Production Manager for the Rocky Mtn States and East. During his tenure, he added over 20 small to large organic, grass-fed producers to the roster. Contracting their cattle, scheduling for processing dates and transportation to processing facility and  working with the plant to ensure quality product.

In the past couple years Rick was hired to take on the project of getting High Plains Processing in Las  Vegas, NM opened and operating. That being accomplished he has just recently retired and plans on  slowing down a bit and continuing his consulting work.
