Rick Danvir

Rick has worked as a wildlife researcher, manager, and consultant on private, public, and tribal lands for more than 40 years, including 30 years with the Deseret Ranches. He has published popular and scientific articles on managing wildlife, healthy land, and agriculture and has served on numerous boards and committees, including the Utah Wildlife Commission and the Bureau of Land Management’s Wild Horse and Burro Advisory Board. His principle professional interest is in maintaining healthy wildlife populations and habitat by holistically managing wildlands for ecological and economic sustainability. Rick lives in Casper, Wyoming, where he currently works on wildlife and range issues with the Western Landowners Alliance.
