Kirrily Blomfield is founder of The Conscious Farmer, a chemical free, grassfed beef business that she owns and runs with her husband. Their Conscious Farmer brand supplies beef to families across SE Australia and reflects Kirrily’s approach to the management of land, animals, and of the health of the product she produces. She has a keen interest in the connection between the health of the soil and the related health of the food coming from her land. She was named New South Wales Farmer of the Year in 2014, is a director with Holistic Management International, and was a founding member of Farmers for Climate Action. She envisions agriculture as the production of nourishing food from thriving, living, profitable farms, and she hopes others will be inspired to join her along the way.
