Jim is CEO/Founder of Other Half Processing SBC (OHP). OHP partners with US farmers and ranchers to add value to hides and other traceable byproducts from the “other half” of regenerative and more sustainably raised livestock. Jim and his brother/co-founder Mark grew up on a farm in Northeast Nebraska with parents who were champions for regenerative farming and fair markets. OHP reflects these values in its producer partnerships, emphasis on full utilization, and in its stated mission to help expand regenerative ag systems. Jim is also a co-founder of Regeneration Farms, home of Tree-Range® chicken. Previously, he spent almost 20 years working on farm policy and emerging markets at the Institute for Ag and Trade Policy and as a consultant. Jim and his family live in Minneapolis.

Workshops:

Jim and Zack will talk about the origin and development of OHP and Timberland’s partnership to establish a traceable US regenerative leather sector that provides benefits back to the producers.
