Jen Silveri is the Director of Field Operations for Michigan Food and Farming Systems (MIFFS), a statewide non-profit that connects beginning and historically underserved farmers to each other and resource opportunities; ensuring social justice, environmental stewardship, and profitability. Jen graduated from Michigan State University with a B.S. in Environmental Biology/Zoology and a passion to positively impact Great Lakes Water quality through land management, conservation of natural resources and social justice. Her experiences gained working as an Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program (MAEAP) Technician, co-located in a USDA NRCS Office, assisting diverse, historically underserved producers in accessing USDA Farm Bill Programs led her to current work with MIFFS.
