The Quivira Coalition hosts a number of workshops throughout the year for land managers interested in improving or maintaining the health of the land they steward. These workshops usually consist of one to three days on working lands where participants are given the opportunity to learn by doing. Topics can include erosion control, biological monitoring, pasture management, soil health assessment, plant identification, native seed harvesting and more! We partner with multiple individuals and groups — agricultural producers, organizations, state and federal agencies, tribes, and others — to bring a diversity of perspectives and expertise to the conversation. If you would like to partner with us on a land health workshop, please contact our workshops team at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Interested in learning more about becoming a mentor to beginning ranchers and farmers?
Join Quivira Coalition’s New Agrarian program for one of our free Intro to Mentoring calls! The calls will be co-facilitated by NAP’s founding mentor, Julie Sullivan, and one of Quivira’s regional program coordinators. These calls will be held over Zoom and are an opportunity to learn more about the nuts and bolts of becoming a mentor in the New Agrarian program and mentoring more generally, as well as to think about how an apprentice might fit into your own operation. Please register using the form below.
If you aren’t able to make this call, we will be offering it again on July 12th, 12-1:30pm MT and August 30th, 6-7:30pm MT.
