The Power of Collaboration
For more than 25 years, Quivira Coalition has envisioned a world where regenerative agriculture is a crucial piece of our food systems, our land stewardship, and our solutions to climate change. We continue to cultivate hope, innovation, education, and collaboration as the nexus from which soil is restored and relationships are grown.

Join the Mission
Through education, innovation, and collaboration, Quivira works in coalition with ranchers, farmers, government agencies, and land stewards to foster resilience on working lands.
We work to support the community and implementation of regenerative agriculture until it is embraced as a crucial piece of our food systems, our land stewardship, and our solutions to climate change.
Meeting You AT
The Intersection of Agriculture and Conservation
We believe that how we inhabit and use the West today will determine the West we pass on to our children tomorrow, and that preserving the biological diversity of working landscapes requires active stewardship from a dedicated community of diverse individuals and perspectives who are focused on coalition-building and practical solutions.
How we assist:
Landowners
Restore Your Land, Strengthen Its Future
Owning land comes with the responsibility of stewardship. Quivira connects you with regenerative practices that improve soil health, conserve water, and increase land productivity—all while building resilience against climate challenges. Join a network of landowners committed to leaving the land better than they found it.
Land Managers
Innovate, Adapt, Thrive
Managing land means balancing productivity with sustainability. Quivira provides practical tools, expert-led workshops, and collaborative learning experiences to help you implement innovative, climate-smart practices. Stay ahead with proven techniques that regenerate ecosystems while supporting your bottom line.
New Agrarians
Tools for the trade
Gaining real-world experience in regenerative agriculture can help you understand if this career and lifestyle are for you. Quivira’s apprenticeship and fellowships offer ways for new agrarians to learn from mentors while getting hands-on training and supplemental education about various relevant topics.
Partners
We are your resource for resilience
Whether you’re a rancher wanting to increase the productivity and resilience of your land or a government agency looking for technical guides to support your staff, Quivira partners with a wide range of people who are committed to the resilience of our working lands.
Coalitions to Enhance Working Lands
Quivira Coalition partners with regional coalitions to strengthen working lands. NMCEWL unites over 40 organizations to support land stewards in New Mexico, while COCEWL enhances agricultural resilience and ecosystem benefits in Colorado. Together, they drive practical solutions for thriving landscapes and communities.
Our Programs
Quivira’s three programs drive resilient agriculture and conservation: the Carbon Ranch Initiative helps implement evidence-based land management practices, the New Agrarian Program trains future land stewards, and the Education and Outreach team builds community through shared knowledge and learning.
