Los Alamos National Laboratroy (LANL) is concerned about the quantity and quality of water in New Mexico and acknowledges that additional scientific information is needed to support decision-making processes regarding water resources. LANL has provided technical assistance and educational resources to the citizens of New Mexico regarding water issues. In order to focus on water-related research, technical assistance, and educational resources, a Water Research Technical Assistance Office has been established in collaboration with Santa Fe County to better serve the mission of these water-related activities.
